BTS Group organizes the 11th Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan
BackBTS Group, in cooperation with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, MBK, Siampiwat, One Siam and Sahapat, organized ‘The 11th Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan’ at the walkway of the BTS National Stadium Station from October 12-14, 2018 and at the walkway of the BTS Chong Nonsi Station on October 12, 2018. The event aimed in mourning for paying tribute to the memory and legacy of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej as well as encouraging people to abstain from eating meat and adopt a healthier lifestyle.
The event featured with many kinds of healthy vegetarian food, assorted desserts, and 9 additional vegetarian food booths from our partners, served free-of-charge to 6,000 persons throughout the three-day event.
Apart from the people’s health, environmental issue was in a concern for organizing the Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan. All kinds of vegetarian food in the event were served in biodegradable food containers made of natural materials, namely banana leaves, bagasse, for replacement food containers made of foam and plastic.
On this occasion, Krungthep Thanakom director Manit Techaaphichoke (Center) and BTS Group CEO Kavin Kanjanapas (third right) were presided over the opening ceremony of the 11th Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan, at the walkway of the BTS National Stadium Station, flanked by BTS Group’s members of the Board of Directors, and representatives from MBK Center, Siampiwat, One Siam and Sahapat.
