On 29 June, 2024; Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of BTS Group Holdings, led the Board of Directors, executive team and employees in a Robe-Offering Ceremony at Makutkiriwan Temple, Khao Yai, located in the Pong Talong Sub-district, Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Demonstrating the Company’s commitment to community support, a remarkable total of THB 3,000,000 was collectively donated by employees and passengers of BTS. The abbot of Makutkiriwan Temple, Phra Yanadilok graciously received the donations, which will be used to fund the construction of a new building and pharmacy. Additionally, the proceeds will be used to procure medical equipments and facilities, to address the growing needs and accommodate patients in the region.

Mr. Keeree stated, the Makutkiriwan Hospital project began 12 years ago, with donations from himself and his friends. These contributions funded the construction of the outpatient and ER buildings, traditional medicine building and elderly care buildings. The hospital was established to serve the Pak Chong community, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances. Presently, the increasing number of patients at Makutkiriwan Hospital has exceeded its capacity, prompting the organisation to raise additional funds. Mr. Keeree is confident that once everything is completed, the hospital will be able to serve the people in times of illness and will be a reliable support for the residents of Pak Chong community.
