On 7th October, 2024, BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTSG), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited (Sahapat Group), MBK Center, and Siam Piwat Group organised an opening ceremony to launch the “16th Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan for Health, Happy, and Merit”. The festival took place from 7 to 9 October 2024, starting at 10.00 a.m. at the walkway of BTS National Stadium Station. The event was presided over and officially launched by Dr. Wantanee Wattana, Permanent Secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Professor Charoen Wattanasin, Sustainability Committee Member, BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, Mr. Surapong Laoha-Unya, Chief Executive Officer, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, Mr. Ian Craig Longden, Chief Executive Officer, Super Turtle Public Company Limited, Mr. Somphol Tripopnart, Chief Shopping Center Business Officer, MBK Public Company Limited, Mr. Sutaschai Playkaew, Senior Vice President of Operations, Siam Piwat Company Limited, and Ms. Thaninthorn Chokwatana, Director of Corporate Communications and Governance, Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited.

On behalf of BTS Group, Professor Charoen Wattanasin expressed his gratitude to all partners for their continuous support of the event as it enters its 16th year. “What makes this year special is that the event is being held in honor of the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on July 28, 2024, this initiative aims to encourage public participation in the Vegetarian Festival by abstaining from meat, practicing moral conduct, and accumulating merit during this virtuous period.”

Mr. Ian Craig Longden stated ‘that Super Turtle Public Company Limited is delighted to extend its full support for the "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan" for the first time. As the Company lends its support to promote and preserve the tradition of the vegetarian festival, we dedicate our efforts in line with the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2024. As part of our support, the Company has brought 1,000 pieces of delicious vegetarian mushroom pies from the Turtle Shop, located across BTS stations, to be distributed to attendees daily, promoting good health, happiness, and shared merit.’

Mr. Somphol Tripopnart stated ‘that MBK Center is delighted continue its annual support of the "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan" alongside BTS Group. With this year’s event held in honor of His Majesty the King on the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, MBK Center has provided the public with over 2,800 freshly cooked, healthy vegetarian meals from renowned restaurants located in the Food Legends by MBK food court on the 6th floor, as well as from Pathumwan Princess Hotel, a business within the MBK Group. During the three-day festival, assorted vegetarian meals from Rabiang Boon, Cheng Sim Ei, and Pathumwan Princess Hotel were distributed to support the festival’s traditions.

Mr. Sutaschai Playkaew stated that Siam Piwat Group remains committed to driving businesses that benefit people, communities, and society, under a platform of opportunities for collective growth. In collaboration with BTS Group, Siam Piwat Group continues its long-standing support of the "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan", honoring this centuries-old tradition of the Chinese community while encouraging collective merit-making and promotion of good health. As such, Siam Piwat Group curated a selection of delicious vegetarian dishes from renowned restaurants at Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery to be handed out to the public.

Ms. Thaninthorn Chokwatana stated that Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited, representing the Saha Group as co-sponsor of the 16th annual "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan" event, has provided a variety of ready-to-eat vegetarian products from the Saha Group. This includes MAMA Vegetarian Instant Noodles, Farmhouse Vegetarian Bread, Corn Soy Milk with Corn Kernels, Bud's Vida Bella 100% Vegan Ice Cream, King’s Bridge Water, and Green Mate Vegetable and Fruit Juice from Thai Sun Foods Co., Ltd.
