Over the past 13 years of the BTS SkyTrain, part of BTS Group, the company has engaged in various local charity events, along with being the leading mass transit train service provider as defined in the BTS slogan, ‘BTS Lift up Your Life’. Corporate social responsibility is an ongoing policy of BTS, implemented through projects and events held annually, such as the BTS Sky Clinic, which is helps to educate people on primary healthcare concerns, providing free physical check-ups to the general public. Other annual events include the SENA Badminton Championship and various CSR activities for children, which we recognize as an important investment in the future development of our country.

In 2011, BTS organized the 'Bring Smiles Back to School' CSR activity to participate in the rehabilitation of the Education sector of the country, helping students to resume their studies as usual. In this regard BTS provided direct assistance with renovation works at Wat Ruak School, Tambon Bangsithong, Amhoe Bangkruay, Nontaburi; Wat Song Plu School, Tambon Bangkunkong, Amhoe Bangkruay, Nontaburi; and Wat-In School, Tambon Sao Thong Hin Amhoe Bangkruay, Nontaburi. These schools were all damaged by widespread flooding and were unable to open at the start of the school term, so BTS sent volunteers to help with painting buildings both inside and outside, renovation of kindergarten study room, instructor room, playground, library, and donated LCD TV, DVD player, computers, radio, stationary, sports equipment, study books, tables, chairs, blankets and etc.

The 'Nuduan Charitable Donation for Children' project began in 2008 and has since been implemented as an ongoing CSR project of BTS. Project objectives are aimed at building social awareness among employees, through creating improved opportunities for underprivileged children. Recently, BTS and Nuduan Plus members joined the '5th Nuduan Charitable Donation activity', providing lunch and donating basic necessities for children at Ban Kru Noi.

Dr. Anat Arbhabhirama ( front row 4th from left ), Director of the BTS SkyTrain presided over the '6th Nuduan Charitable Donation for Children' at the Training Center, BTSC Head Office, Phaholyothin Road and Khun Patchaneeya Pootme ( front row 3rd from right ), Corporate Communications Director of BTS Group also participated in the event. The objective in organising this activity was to give children new experiences and learning about the BTS mass transit system. Two-hundred students from three schools visited the BTS operational training centre and tried the train “Simulator” and experimented with a working model of the SkyTrain. After that they were all treated to a lunch of American Fried Rice and other tasty snacks. The group of children and staff then took a ride on the BTS SkyTrain to visit the Science Center for Education (Bangkok Planetarium) and learn about the solar system and planetary science. Children watched a presentation on Meteorite s impacting the Earth and space exploration. During the field trip, the children were also able to view Bangkok's major landmarks along BTS SkyTrain line.
