Admiral Choengchai stated that the cooperation between the Navy and UTA today was very positive. It is one of the proposals and benefits that will enhance the efficiency of the U-Tapao International Airport and Eastern Aviation City development project. The construction of residential buildings, recreational, and fitness facilities in Phase 1 will cover an area of 22 rai. It will include four residential buildings with 204 rooms, along with basic infrastructure. The project will feature a playground, a multipurpose area, and parking lots. The landscape will be enhanced with shaded trees and waterfront architecture. The construction is expected to take about three years with a budget of 400 million baht. The project is a prototype of a Navy Village developed with the Smart City concept in a prominent development area. It is convenient for travel and will support the accommodation needs of various units in the Sattahip area, with potential for further development.

Mr. Keeree added that UTA is honored and very pleased to participate in the foundation stone laying ceremony for Phase 1 of the Navy's residential building construction project. This is the inaugural project of the U-Tapao International Airport and Eastern Aviation City development that has been concretely implemented.

"I am very happy because this is a day I have long awaited. It marks the first step in entering the area and working with the Navy Commander and the Royal Thai Navy, making UTA a part of the Navy family. Through our long-term cooperation on national projects, we are confident that the development of U-Tapao International Airport and Eastern Aviation City will undoubtedly benefit the country. UTA pledges to proceed with all projects sincerely and to the best of our abilities," said Mr. Keeree.

UTA firmly believes that this Navy residential building construction project will be successful and will help elevate the quality of life and welfare of Navy personnel and their families, in line with the Navy Commander's policy. It will also symbolize the enduring cooperation and friendship between the Navy and UTA.

Additionally, on that day, the Navy and UTA visited the Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center and participated in activities to release turtles back into the sea. They also donated funds to support sea turtle conservation efforts to increase and expand the sea turtle population, preventing extinction, maintaining ecological balance in the sea, and ensuring that sea turtles remain a part of the Thai natural marine environment for a long time to come.
