October 16^th 2023, BTS Group Holdings, in collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Saha Group, MBK Center, and Siam Piwat Group, officially launched the 15th annual " Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan: Eat Vegetarian, Eat Healthy, Fit and Firm" event. The ceremony took place at 11:30 AM at the skywalk connecting the BTS National Stadium Station (W1). The event aims to encourage the public to participate in the 2023 Vegetarian Festival by abstaining from meat, adhering to moral principles, and making merit while also focusing on health through exercise and consuming nutritious food.The event was graced by Mr. Witthaya Nawasethakul, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Transportation Department, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Special Professor Charoen Wattanasin, Independent Director, BTS Group Holdings, Mr. Sumit Srisantithum. Chief Operations Officer, Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited, Mr. Mr. Somphol Tripopnart, Managing Director: Shopping Center Business at Mbk PCL, Mr. Sutaschai Playkaew, Senior Vice President of Operations, Siam Piwat Company Limited, and Ms. Thaninthorn Chokwatana, Director of Corporate Communications and Governance, Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited. These distinguished guests joined together to honor the opening of the event.

The 15^th annual "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan: Eat Vegetarian, Eat Healthy, Fit and Firm" event will be held from October 16-18, 2023. The event will feature numerous vegetarian food booths from leading vendors, organized by the event's partners, providing over 7,000 food boxes to the public throughout the three days. Participating vendors include Chef Man Restaurant, Pathumwan Princess Hotel, leading food outlets from Food Legends by MBK on the 6th floor, and JUMBO Seafood from Siam Piwat Group. Additionally, the event will offer a variety of vegetarian products from the Saha Group, such as Mama Vegetarian Flavored Instant Noodles, Farmhouse Vegetarian Bread, Corn Soy Milk, Bud's Veda Bella 100% Vegan Ice Cream, King's Bridge Drinking Water, and Japanese Sweet Potatoes and Apple Juice from Don Don Donki.

Additionally, the event will feature "Fit and Firm" activities where participants can join in exercise dances for a chance to win various prizes. These activities will take place at the skywalk connecting to the National Stadium BTS station. Special for this year, to increase public participation, the organizers will add three more distribution points for vegetarian food, providing 250 boxes per day starting at 12:00 PM.

Special Professor Charoen Wattanasin, an independent director of BTS Group, stated that the Vegetarian Festival is an ancient Chinese tradition that has been practiced for generations. Recognizing its importance, BTS Group, along with its partners, initiated the annual "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan” event to give back to the community and encourage the public to participate in this vegetarian observance. For 15 consecutive years, the event has provided free vegetarian food to the public. BTS Group would like to thank its partners, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Saha Group, MBK Center, and Siam Piwat, for their excellent cooperation in organizing this event. We hope to continue this tradition in the future and express gratitude to the public for their continuous support. This year’s special feature includes activities where participants can dance to exercise, promoting good health while enjoying delicious vegetarian food. This initiative also aims to foster good deeds and bring auspiciousness to participants' lives.

This year, BTS Group is offering a variety of free vegetarian dishes to the public from Chef Man's restaurant. The menu includes fried rice, stir-fried noodles, mixed vegetables, stir-fried imitation shrimp with bean sprouts, lotus seed mochi, and red bean mochi, among other options.

Mr. Somphol Tripopnart Managing Director: Shopping Center Business at Mbk PCL, stated that MBK Center is delighted to continue collaborating in organizing the "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan” event. This event promotes the rich cultural heritage of Thai-Chinese communities and supports the health of Thais, who are increasingly adopting vegetarian diets. This year, MBK Center, in cooperation with leading restaurants in the Food Legends by MBK food court on the 6th floor and the Pathumwan Princess Hotel, both under the MBK umbrella, will distribute over 2,500 freshly prepared vegetarian meal boxes (850 sets per day). Dishes include stir-fried soba noodles, mixed vegetarian fried rice, vegetarian basil rice, and vegetarian Thai fish cakes from Rabiang Boon. Other offerings include pad thai, kuay jub, and radish cake from Pad Thai Champion Mae Klong, and vegetarian fried rice, stir-fried vermicelli, and holy basil tofu rice from Pathumwan Princess Hotel.

Ms. Thaninthorn Chokwatana, Director of Corporate Communications and Governance, Saha Pathana Inter-Holding Public Company Limited, representing the Saha Group, co-sponsored the 15th annual "Vegetarian Food Festival with Nuduan” event. She brought various ready-to-eat vegetarian products from the Saha Group, such as MAMA vegetarian Mama instant noodles, Farmhouse vegetarian bread, Corn Soy milk, Bud's Vida Bella 100% vegan ice cream, King’s Bridge water, and Japanese roasted sweet potatoes and apple juice from Don Don Donki. These products are especially beneficial and healthy during the vegetarian festival, a time when meat consumption is abstained from. Over 3,000 sets per day were provided to attendees free of charge.
