January 8th 2024, Mr. Keree Kanjanapas, Chairman of Northern Bangkok Monorail Co., Ltd. (NBM), the concessionaire for the MRT Pink Line project, along with NBM executives including Mr. Pakpoom Srichamni, Mr. Nopparat Tuampradit, Mr. Surapong Laoha-Unya, Mr. Kong Chi Keung, and Mr. Seranee Chanweerakul, as well as executives from the BTS Group, participated in a merit-making ceremony to pay homage to sacred deities for good fortune. The ceremony took place at the Operations Control Center of the MRT Pink Line (OCC PK).

Mr. Keree stated that today marks an auspicious occasion as we pay homage to sacred deities and conduct a merit-making ceremony for the MRT Pink Line, which commenced commercial operations on January 7, 2024, following over a month of trial runs. He expressed gratitude for the cooperation, dedication, and effort of the executives and staff who have ensured that the service is both convenient and safe. The Pink Line significantly reduces travel time during peak hours for the public, particularly along the heavily trafficked route between Khae Rai and Min Buri.

Additionally, Mr. Keree and the executive team emphasized safety measures, particularly the guiding wheels of the train carriages, to ensure readiness and safety before daily operations commence for the public. This aspect is of utmost importance to the Company.

The MRT Pink Line began commercial operations on January 7, 2024, covering all 30 stations from 6:00 AM to midnight. The fare is currently reduced by 15%, starting at 13 baht and going up to 38 baht, due to ongoing repairs to the power supply rails between Royal Irrigation Department (PK05) and Min Buri Station (PK30). Additionally, fares are waived between Nonthaburi Civic Center (PK01) and Samakkhi Station (PK04). Passengers can travel using three types of cards: Single Journey Card, Rabbit Card, and EMV Card, with the EMV Card receiving a 13-14 baht discount on initial fares for transfers between the MRT Purple Line (Chalong Ratchadham Line) and the MRT Pink Line.
