"Keeree and Friends Donate 1 Million Baht to Blind Children on National Children's Day at Makutkiriwan School for the Blind, Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima"
BackJanuary 13th 2024, Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, Chairman of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, along with his friends, including Mr. Kulit Sombatsiri, Prosecutor Somboon Muangklam, Police Colonel Suchart Wongananchai, Ms. Narisara Srisan, Mr. Chalush Chinthammit, Mr. Pornchai Prasertsintanah, Ms. Yaninee Preechawit, and Mr. Weerasak Wangsuphakijkosol along with his team, donated 1 million baht to blind children on National Children's Day at the Makutkiriwan School for the Blind in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. They also organized activities to bring joy and smiles to the children and hosted a lunch at the school.
Miss Narisara Srisan, a consultant for organizational communication strategy at BTS Group, revealed that this year, Keeree and Friends organized National Children's Day activities to bring happiness and smiles to visually impaired children at the Makutkiriwan School for the Blind in Nakhon Ratchasima province Keeree and Friends donated 1 million baht to the school, which was raised from charity events, ticket sales, and sales of products made by visually impaired students at the Makutkiriwan School for the Blind. The total revenue, without deducting expenses, was approximately 500,000 baht. Additionally, Mr. Keeree contributed an additional 500,000 baht to support opportunities for this school for future use. The group also provided gifts and lunch for the children and teachers within the school.
In addition, today's activities also included showcasing the abilities of visually impaired children, such as performances of traditional Pong Lang Thai dance, singing in harmony, and participating in a singing competition for prizes. These activities brought joy, smiles, and laughter to everyone who attended the event.
The Makutkiriwan School for the Blind (Khao Yai) was established by the followers of His Holiness the Venerable Luang Pu Bunruethi Panthito with devout intention to commemorate His Majesty's centennial birthday anniversary in the year 2014. His Holiness the Venerable Chao Khun Phra Yan Dilok (Phra Ajahn Daeng) graciously donated approximately 10 acres of land within the premises of Makutkiriwan Temple for the construction of this educational institution. The construction budget for this school was supported by Mr. Keeree Kanjanapas, on behalf of " Keeree and Friends ".
